John,

On this month’s WFP Assembly — our monthly virtual gathering where we join together to build community and re-commit ourselves to the movement — we have an extra special guest.

Joining us on the call is none other than Rep. Rashida Tlaib to discuss the BREATHE Act, a modern-day civil rights act calling on the divestment of the police and a reinvestment into our communities.

Also joining us on the call is Illinois State Senator Robert Peters to discuss Trump's plan to send federal agents to Chicago and how activists and progressive lawmakers are fighting back.

RSVP to join us this Sunday, July 26th at 8pm ET/5pm PT for the WFP Assembly featuring Rep. Rashida Tlaib and Sen. Robert Peters! All you need to join is a phone or a computer.

The BREATHE Act is a radical re-imagination of public safety. It calls for divesting from police agencies like the DEA and ICE, removing police from our schools, dispatching trained trauma-informed interventionists to respond to mental health emergencies, increasing social equity including fully-funding our schools and communities, and much, much more.

We are excited to hear from Rep. Rashida Tlaib who co-introduced the BREATHE Act in Congress and State Sen. Robert Peters to discuss the current situation in Chicago on this month’s WFP Assembly.

RSVP to join Rep. Rashida Tlaib and Sen. Robert Peters on the WFP Assembly, this Sunday, July 26th at 8pm ET/5pm PT. All you need to join is a phone or a computer.

We hope to see you there,

All of us at the Working Families Party
