Hello,

I’m about to ask you to pitch in whatever you can to help us reach our first end-of-month goal in this new quarter, but if you give me just a minute, I’ll explain why I’m even asking.

You see, it’s been a busy couple of weeks in Washington. I’ve been fighting hard to push back against the McConnell agenda and make sure our government works for everyday folks like you.

As you can imagine, fighting off Mitch McConnell’s network of special interests and mega-donors leaves me with very little time to worry about our own fundraising. And I’ll admit — our numbers have taken a significant dip since last month.

I’ve seen what this incredible grassroots team can do in difficult spots like these, so I’m turning to you once again:
