As we begin 2026, we urgently need to grow our community of monthly supporters. We are fighting against a devastating and escalating global public health crisis:
By 2060, the number of people in the United States age 65 and older living with Alzheimer's is projected to reach nearly 13.8 million.
1 in 3 older adults dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia.
Alzheimer's kills more Americans than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined.
Family members and friends provided more than 19 billion hours — valued at more than $413 billion — in unpaid care to people living with Alzheimer's and other dementias in 2024.
These are dire statistics, but there is hope for the future. One of our best hopes lies with our community that provides ongoing support to fuel research and helps us offer care and support. We made an ambitious goal of recruiting 140 new monthly supporters during our Monthly Supporter Drive.
Giving monthly can be a small way to make a big difference. You're in control of the commitment you make. The amount you give each month is up to you, and you can change it at any time. But the moment you become a monthly supporter, at any level, you'll help further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
