We’re back and excited to embark on an exciting year ahead! |
Wow, is it 2026 already?!
We’ll be the first to admit that we folks at NCH, while away for the holidays, have been enjoying family time, much needed rest, and a moment to reflect on the incredible year we’ve had.
As we look back on all the amazing moments, from rallying together for rallies to showing up for one another when we needed each other most, a special thank you goes to all of our State Captains; you know who you are. Life has been moving fast, and while we’ve hit a few bumps along the way, it has only made the journey more meaningful. NCH and our incredible advocates have so much to be proud of. For the sake of time, we wanted to share a short recap of the year and, of course, reveal our New Year’s resolution at the end. |

On December 18th, we partnered with the National Health Care for the Homeless Council to host a livestream of this year’s Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day ceremony. We remembered neighbors, friends, and loved ones who were experiencing homelessness and reflected on our shared responsibility to protect the dignity of every person. Our New Year’s Resolution |
As we step into 2026, our collective New Year’s resolution at NCH is simple but powerful: to keep fighting for the dignity, safety, and housing rights of every person experiencing homelessness. We resolve to organize, advocate, and empower even more, to lift up voices too often ignored, and to continue building communities where no one is left behind.
As the late Confucius once said, “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” In 2026, we commit to celebrating the strength, resilience, and leadership of people with lived experience, and to making real change together. Here’s to a year of courage, connection, and progress. |
