Through interactive sessions and meaningful dialogue, participants build essential leadership and management skills while connecting with a diverse network of influential regional leaders, creating relationships that last well beyond the program.


The Rising Leaders Program is ideal for professionals ages 26–35 from any sector who are looking to accelerate their leadership development and expand their regional network.

APPLY NOW FOR THE ARLINGTON/ALEXANDRIA TALENT INVESTMENT GRANTS


The Alexandria/Arlington Regional Workforce Council is making $60,000 available in reimbursable grants to assist local small- and mid-sized businesses to meet the skills training needs of their incumbent workforce. All applications will be approved on a first come, first served basis until either funding is depleted or the grant period has ended. Grant period ends on October 1, 2026.

 

The grant limit is $4,500 per business. The business will pay 100% of the training expense and then the Regional Workforce Council will reimburse the business based on certain criteria. Employers participating in the program are required to pay for a share of the training cost.
