Nightmarish conditions are taking hold in Gaza as the region is plunged deeper into a cruel winter.

Rafah was injured while fleeing her home. She and her family live in a tent in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis.
Displaced families are forced to live in flimsy tents in refugee camps. Heavy rains and harsh winter conditions bring disastrous flooding to these camps, sweeping away families’ makeshift shelters and even their children.
Swept away by flood waters, succumbing to exposure, trapped in tents by rapid wildfires — children and their families in Gaza are struggling to survive the winter with what little they have left.
Of 36 hospitals in Gaza, only 18 are even partially functional. This leaves a massive void for an estimated 55,000 pregnant women and the 150 babies born every single day. Brave midwives, aid workers, doctors, nurses, and mobile health clinics are putting their own lives on the line to ensure that hope stays alive.
You can provide lifesaving healthcare to pregnant women, new mothers, and their children by donating any amount today. Will you make a gift to bring lifesaving care, dignity, and hope to women and girls in Gaza?
We welcome the ceasefire agreement, the release of all hostages by Hamas, and the delivery of lifesaving humanitarian aid in Gaza. We are hopeful that peace will prevail and that the suffering of women, girls, and families will end.
Thank you for being there for women and girls when many have turned away.
