These words have always carried me through my darkest hours. And now more than ever, they are guiding me through the challenge I’m facing in my race for U.S. Senate.

I’m Jon Husted, and I didn’t come to Washington to play politics. I came to fight for the values that built this country: faith, freedom, hard work, and a love for the country.

As a child, I was given a second chance at life when my wonderful parents adopted me from a foster home. From becoming an All-American defensive lineman to a career in public service, I’ve seen firsthand that with trust in the Lord, we can overcome anything.

But right now, the path ahead is steep. Sherrod Brown is out for another swing at this critical Senate seat. His allies are doing everything in their power to buy this election and push their radical, liberal agenda on all of us.

This race is shaping up to be the challenge of a lifetime, Friend. But I know our fight isn’t just about politics. With the power of faith, we can overcome any obstacle the Left throws our way. 

That’s why I’m asking you to offer your support and rise to the challenge to defend our great Nation. Even in the darkest valley, we will not fear, because we know the Lord is with us, with you, and the millions of Americans fighting with me to build a better future. 

Let’s stand firm together. Let’s win together. And let’s never forget who walks beside us.
