Last week, our nation once again witnessed the consequences of reckless, anti-law-enforcement rhetoric. In Minnesota, an individual attempted to run over an ICE officer with her vehicle, leaving him no choice but to defend himself. This is what happens when radical Democrats—from Governors Newsom and Walz to Senators Schumer and Warren—spend years demonizing law enforcement and stoking hatred toward those who uphold the law. Democrats have gone on record dozens of times attacking ICE and undermining respect for law and order.

On Friday, we recognized National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Despite the threats and attacks they face, our law enforcement officers continue to put their lives on the line every day to protect Americans, regardless of party or politics. I am deeply grateful for these brave men and women, and I will continue fighting for them in Congress as they defend our communities here at home.

Democrats’ Obamacare Bailout Scam

Washington Democrats are at it again, refusing to fix a broken health care system and instead demanding another taxpayer-funded bailout of Obamacare. Rather than lower costs, they’re pushing Biden-era COVID subsidies that shovel billions into insurance companies while premiums and out-of-pocket costs keep climbing for working families. This week, I proudly voted NO on the Democrats’ discharge petition to extend the so-called Enhanced Premium Tax Credits. Masking failure with more spending isn’t reform—it’s a scam.

RSC Backs My Birthright Citizenship Act

I’m proud to announce that my Birthright Citizenship Act was included in the Republican Study Committee’s Fiscal Year 2026 Budget, a major step forward in restoring the rule of law and protecting the integrity of American citizenship. The RSC is the conservative caucus of House Republicans and a leading policy force on the Right, and its inclusion signals strong support among House conservatives to end the misuse of birthright citizenship.

This legislation aligns with President Trump’s commitment to make birthright citizenship reform a national priority and restore the 14th Amendment to its original intent. My bill ensures that automatic U.S. citizenship applies only to children born in the United States with at least one parent who is a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or a lawful immigrant serving on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces. Citizenship is one of the greatest privileges our nation offers; it should be protected, not exploited.

America First at the Kitchen Table

Last week, Secretary Kennedy took a common-sense step by rethinking the food pyramid and putting Americans first at the kitchen table. When our Founders built this nation, families grew their own food, raised livestock, hunted, and gathered around the table for meals. That self-reliance helped build the strongest nation on earth, and it’s something we never should have abandoned.

Over time, processed foods replaced real food for the sake of convenience, leaving Americans sicker, weaker, and less nourished. A strong America starts with healthy families, and that starts at the table. President Trump and Secretary Kennedy are leading the charge to bring us back to real food, real strength, and real American values.
