Today is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day: National Human Trafficking Awareness Day is as a timely reminder that we all have a role to play in looking after one another by recognizing the signs of exploitation and trafficking. This year’s theme, “Stronger Connections. Stronger Futures,” highlights how supportive relationships at home, in schools, and in our communities can keep children from falling through the cracks. Parents, caregivers, and teachers are uniquely positioned to notice when something is wrong and connect children to critical resources.
