Families are doing everything right, yet they’re being forced to choose between paying for medicine and paying the bills.

John,

Across Wisconsin, I hear the same fear again and again: prescription drugs cost too much, and coverage isn't keeping up. Families are doing everything right, yet they're being forced to choose between paying for medicine and paying the bills.

As drug costs rise, reduced coverage has deadly consequences.

As drug prices rise, insurance coverage for those prescriptions is shrinking. When people can't afford the medications they need, they skip doses, delay care, or go without treatment entirely. The consequences can be deadly.

No one should have to ration insulin, cut pills in half, or decide which prescription matters most. Health care should give people peace of mind, not anxiety every time they go to the pharmacy.

As your Lieutenant Governor, I'll fight to lower prescription drug costs and protect coverage so families can get the care they need, when they need it. I'll stand up to pharmaceutical companies and politicians who protect profits instead of people, and I'll push for policies that put patients first.

This is about dignity, fairness, and basic security. Wisconsin families deserve a health care system that works for them.

I'm committed to fighting for affordable, accessible health care — including the medications people rely on to live healthy lives.

More soon,

Sarah
