I’ve lived these words my entire life.
My name is Jon Husted. From my earliest days in foster care, God’s hand has guided me. He led me to loving parents who adopted me and taught me faith, family, and hard work.
He gave me opportunities I could never have imagined—like becoming an All-American at the University of Dayton and winning the DIII National Championship in 1989.
And when I thought my path was clear – coaching college football – God opened a new door.
Public service called me, and I answered.
Years later, I had the honor of being chosen to replace our Vice President, JD Vance, as Ohio’s next U.S. Senator.
Now, I face one of the biggest battles of my life. Democrats are pouring millions into this race, attacking me simply for standing with President Trump and the agenda that has strengthened our country.
I won’t let them win – but I can’t do it alone.
