I haven’t forgotten growing up in a working-class family that relied on SNAP benefits.

I haven’t forgotten when Medicaid saved my mom’s life.

I haven’t forgotten the teachers who pushed me to succeed and the communities that invested in people like me.

I will always remember where I came from, and the people and programs who helped me beat the odds. Now, I’m fighting in Congress to make sure Washington never forgets them either.

But with MAGA Republicans in charge right now, that’s no small task. That’s why I need your help: will you chip in whatever you can to make sure Coloradans aren’t left behind by Donald Trump and his loathsome Republican majority?

Let’s be honest: Republicans like Donald Trump and JD Vance want to leave Colorado behind — all because we didn’t vote for the current President. Trump might as well have said it himself when he vetoed clean water access for rural communities in our state and denied disaster funding for wildfire and flood recovery.

Add that on top of the GOP’s devastating cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, and the Affordable Care Act? Coloradans are struggling — and the Republican Party has no interest in doing anything about it.

I do. That’s why I’m working every single day to make life better for families all across the country. By fighting for paid family leave nationwide, so no parent has to worry about losing their income when raising their newborn.

By investing in our public schools, so no student falls through the cracks.

By bringing down costs, building affordable housing, and expanding access to affordable child care, so no family gets left behind.

Look, this upcoming election isn’t about me, Republicans, or even Donald Trump. It’s about you, and the kind of future we want to build together.

I know what future I’m fighting for, and I know you do too. But it won’t be handed to us. We have to win it on Election Day in November. Please, help us build a movement powerful enough to take back the House. I can’t do it without you.
