Did you see that Trump’s extreme Border Patrol commander attacked me on Twitter?

I mean, this guy is really going to hate it when I become California’s next Governor. Because they know I will go on offense and stand up for our immigrant communities.

Because here is what I’m going to do to protect immigrants in California:

I’m going to make sure that if the President sends ICE agents to chase immigrants through the fields where they work or take them from their homes, they are required to take off their masks, show their faces, and provide identification.

If they commit crimes like murder, false imprisonment, kidnapping, battery, or assault, they’re going to be charged and held accountable under California law. And as Governor, we can even take away their driver’s licenses and make them ineligible to drive in California.

There’s a lot we can do, but most importantly, we have to go on offense. Otherwise, the most vulnerable people in our community will always be on defense.
