Hi there,

It's been 88 years since Kansas voters last elected a Democratic senator. And they've never elected a Democratic woman senator.

Dr. Barbara Bollier, a medical doctor, can become the first.

In a recent profile by The Economist, Dr. Bollier is described as "an unusually strong candidate" given her medical expertise and deep understanding of rural health care systems.

In times like these, Dr. Bollier is by far the strongest candidate to represent Kansas in the U.S. Senate. The latest poll has her up by one, which is still within the margin of error.

This race is going to be one of the closest Senate races this cycle, but we know Barbara can flip this seat and turn Kansas blue.
