Thank You, Mr. President

What I love about President Trump is that if he believes it’s the right thing to do for America, on any level, he is willing to risk his reputation and his standing as President to achieve what is best for America’s safety and prosperity.
Last week, Venezuelan President Maduro, a drug dealer and ruthless dictator, was taken down. Venezuela can now enjoy freedom and prosperity. China, Russia, North Korea, and terrorist groups know they will not be allowed to create bases in South America. Cuba is on notice. The Mexican cartels are on notice. The Monroe Doctrine, to protect the Western Hemisphere and therefore America, is in force again.
America is safer today, and our enemies who relied on Venezuelan oil are weaker. The flow of drugs into America is and will be diminished.
President Trump is a leader because he is bold and he is smart. He understands, as a man of peace, that you must be strong when needed and not afraid to show your resolve.
A Final Farewell to My Friend Michael Reagan

Michael Reagan, the adopted son of President Ronald Reagan, passed away Sunday at the age of 80.
He was a dear friend of mine for many years. Back in the mid-1990s, I put his new national radio show on my radio station, AM 700 KSEV, in Houston. I had been the first major-market station to put Rush Limbaugh on the air a few years earlier, and I thought Michael would be another great conservative fit for our lineup. He was.
We did many live events together and often talked about his dad. I was honored when he asked me to host his national show during his father’s funeral.
Michael once told me a touching story about his father that I’ve never forgotten. He visited his father every week. By then, President Reagan had Alzheimer’s and, after a while, no longer recognized Michael. Still, Michael always gave the President a big hug before he left.
One visit, Michael forgot to hug his father. As Michael was about to get into his car, the President, standing in the driveway with Nancy, held his arms open for a hug. At that moment, Michael knew his father remembered him as the man who hugged him each week. We both teared up as he told me that story.
Rest in peace, my friend. I know you are with the President again, this time for eternity.
Important Special Election Notice
Tarrant County SD 9: Vote for Leigh Wambsganss

There’s a critical special election in Tarrant County to fill the Texas Senate seat vacated by Sen. Kelly Hancock.
Leigh Wambsganss crushed her moderate Republican challenger in round one, but the race isn’t over. She now faces a Democrat in the runoff, and in special elections, turnout is everything.
SD 9 is a Republican district, but we can’t take anything for granted. Every Republican must turn out to vote!
President Trump, Governor Abbott, Tarrant County Judge Tim O’Hare, every major grassroots organization, and I have all endorsed Leigh Wambsganss. We need her in the Texas Senate.
If you live in SD 9, please vote early or on January 31.
Vote Early: Wednesday, January 21 – Tuesday, January 27
Election Day: Saturday, January 31
Property Tax Relief Could Reach Texans 10 Years Earlier
I launched Operation Double Nickel to speed up school property tax relief, lower school property taxes, and permanently freeze appraised values for more than 3.3 million homeowners by extending the current over-65 freeze on your home’s taxable value to Texans 55 and older, hence the “double nickel.”
