Team, I need you to hear this.
My Democratic opponent, Raja Krishnamoorthi, joined Republicans on a resolution to “express gratitude” to ICE and to call for greater state and local collaboration with them.
Yes — you read that right.
He voted to express gratitude to the same ICE agents who just killed Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis.
He expressed gratitude to the same agency that beats and assaults protestors and reporters with tear gas and pepper spray, for standing up for what’s right.
He expressed gratitude to the same federal law enforcement that has invaded our Chicago communities, detained and deported our neighbors, and torn families apart.
And his Senate campaign is being funded by the very forces that have driven ICE’s inhumane, authoritarian expansion — Trump advisers, Project 2025 authors, and corporate interests tied directly to ICE enforcement.
That’s who we’re up against.
Someone who says one thing on the campaign trail — but votes to praise ICE when it actually counts.
Illinois deserves better than that in a United States Senator.
As Lieutenant Governor, I have never shied away from defending our immigrant communities — and I will not back down now, when families, basic rights, and our democracy are on the line.
That’s why I’m running for the United States Senate: to be a leader who will fight for accountability, protect our communities, and push for an immigration system rooted in dignity and justice.
It’s time to take this fight to Washington. But I need you with me to get there.

Thank you for standing with me against Trump, ICE, and their attacks on our neighbors.
