Talking to strangers can be terrifying or thrilling. Either way, it's better than having a Republican controlled State House! Join us this Saturday to call Democrats in House District 109 to elect Regina Lewis-Ward ([link removed]) . Regina's priorities include empowering working class families, investing in education, improving access to healthcare, and standing up for environmental justice. We're honored to shine this month's spotlight on former Young Democrats of Georgia President Sarah Beeson! Sarah Beeson is a Roswell native and mother who operates a 50+ employee family business that has been based in Roswell for over two decades. She's running to oust Senator John Albers in one of the most flippable state senate seats in Georgia! A long-time advocate, Sarah has served as the Communications Chair on the board for Advance Atlanta, a non-profit committed to expanding transit throughout the metro area. She also represents local small business owners as a Leadership Council Member for the National Small Business Association. Previously, Sarah worked for the Human Rights Campaign, the nation's largest LGBTQ advocacy group.
