After the murder of Renee Good by an ICE agent on Wednesday, Minnesota authorities moved swiftly to open an investigation into the incident and bring justice for Renee.

But then Vice President J.D. Vance took to X yesterday and claimed that the ICE agent had “absolute immunity.”

Now, the FBI is refusing to cooperate with the state on the investigation, blocking access to case materials, scene evidence, and investigative interviews. 

The Trump administration is conducting a coverup, preventing the ICE agent who murdered Renee Good from facing any consequences for his actions.

Democrats in Congress tried to step in to prevent the coverup. Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley motioned to subpoena records and footage related to the shooting. Lauren Boebert voted against it. The motion failed.

It’s a loud and clear message from Trump and Boebert: ICE can murder Americans indiscriminately and get away with it.

It’s not an exaggeration when we say the upcoming 2026 election is a matter of life or death.
