The House just passed a government funding package that will back the blue and put public safety first.

I fought to secure key funding in the bill to equip law enforcement to better fight crime and protect our communities across Southern California.

Maduro was a dictator who exported drugs, violence, and instability. I stand firmly with the Venezuelan people in their fight for freedom.

President Trump made it clear that the United States will not tolerate criminal regimes that flood our borders with drugs and endanger American lives. The action was decisive, targeted, and carried out swiftly.

I am heartbroken by the loss of my dear friend and colleague, Doug LaMalfa.

Doug served Californians with integrity, conviction, and a deep love for our country. A steadfast conservative, he championed the American Dream—standing up for working families, farmers, and small businesses.

He was not only a respected member of the California Republican Delegation, but a kind and decent man who treated everyone with warmth and respect. He will be deeply missed, and my heart is with his wife, family, staff, and all who mourn this great loss. His legacy of service will not be forgotten.

One year ago, California experienced its costliest fire in Los Angeles. Over 30 individuals lost their lives, more than 200,000 were displaced, and 16,000 structures were destroyed.

My heart is with the families who have lost so much. I will keep fighting to hold California leaders accountable for failed policies that put lives in danger and cost Californian families billions.

Maduro was a drug lord, indicted since 2020 with a bounty on his head. The U.S.’s limited and targeted operation was a wildly successful law enforcement action, executed with decisiveness and precision under the administration.

It was an honor meeting with the Secretary of Veteran Affairs Doug Collins this week to discuss the Orange County’s Veterans Cemetery. Secretary Collins and I are committed to seeing this through until veterans get the final resting place they deserve.

This past week, the Korean American Grassroots Conference marked the upcoming Korean American Day by celebrating the vibrant Korean American community—recognizing their resilience, cultural heritage, and meaningful contributions to the fabric of our nation.

Community financial institutions keep Main Street across America running.

This week, the Financial Services Committee introduced the Main Street Capital Access Act to help unlock more capital for Main Street. Proud to help our local small business, families, and communities thrive!
