John,
I know the start of 2026 has been overwhelming. Between the fear and disruption caused by violent ICE raids and the uncertainty created by President Trump’s unlawful military actions overseas, a lot of families are feeling anxious about what comes next.
But there is some good news from our first week in Washington. After months of stalling, sustained pressure from House Democrats forced a vote to extend the ACA tax credits.
This is a key step forward in tackling the affordability crisis and delivering much-needed relief to millions of families who otherwise would have seen their health insurance premiums skyrocket.
Now the Senate must pass this extension. Democrats can’t back down from this fight -- and with an election year upon us, this win shows what’s possible when we stand firm and push for results for the American people, especially as we work toward winning back the House majority this November.
I’m going to keep working to make life more affordable and accessible, no matter who’s in charge. If you’re with me, $3 today will help keep me in Congress and move us closer to House control.
Thank you,
Mike
