John,
Families here in South Texas are paying the price for the decisions made in Washington.

The Valley is now one of the regions most impacted by expiring healthcare subsidies. For working families in TX-15, those subsidies are the difference between having coverage and going without care altogether.
And here’s what makes this even harder to accept.
Our incumbent, Monica De La Cruz, voted to cut Medicaid and failed to protect the ACA tax credits our people rely on to afford their health insurance.
That means families lose coverage, people delay care, and emergency rooms fill up because folks have nowhere else to turn.
I know this reality personally. As a working musician, I’ve gone without insurance and crossed into Mexico for care because it was cheaper. No one should do that just to stay healthy, and no one in Congress should be voting to make it harder.
It’s why I’m running for Congress. Our district is one of the most competitive in the country, and we have a real opportunity to flip this seat and fight for affordable, reliable healthcare that actually works for South Texas families. But we’re up against a well-funded incumbent, and Republicans are preparing to spend big to protect this seat.
Can I count on you to chip in to our campaign to help us fight back and protect healthcare for families here at home?
