U.S. Senator Katie Britt (R-Montgomery) is calling out the dangerous and irresponsible rhetoric coming from leaders in the Democratic Party after a woman was killed in Minneapolis by an ICE officer acting in self defense.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, Renee Nicole Good was shot and killed by an ICE agent after she allegedly tried using her vehicle as a weapon. Latest reports indicate Good was “stalking and impeding” ICE agents throughout the day of the incident.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey accused the agent of committing murder and said ICE needs to leave the city.
Britt discussed the situation Thursday on Newsmax.
“Well, first and foremost, this is a tragic situation,” Britt said. “As you said yourself, any loss of life is something that we all mourn when we look at where we are and how we got here. The left has to assume responsibility for creating an environment that should have never existed.” | | | On Sunday, U.S. Senator Katie Britt praised President Donald Trump following the arrest of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro and his wife on federal drug charges.
Speaking on “Sunday Morning Futures” on Fox News, Britt (R-Montgomery) called the operation a decisive demonstration of American strength and resolve.
“When this president talks, when he tells people what he’s going to do, he means it,” Britt said. “There is no doubt that Venezuelans have a greater opportunity for prosperity because of President Trump’s actions. There is no doubt that Americans are safer and more secure because of President Trump’s actions.” | | | The past year has certainly been a memorable one – and, more importantly, a rewarding one.
Beginning the year by leading the Laken Riley Act through the Senate and to President Trump’s desk – and seeing it become the first bill he signed into law in his second term –was just the start of what we have accomplished for Alabamians and Americans alike. Trump and Republicans campaigned on cracking down on illegal migration, and this legislation sent an immediate and unmistakable message to the nation that we intended to keep that promise.
Since then, border crossings have reached historic lows, resulting in countless lives saved. Whether it’s stopping deadly fentanyl or violent criminals from crossing our border, the success in securing our nation is undeniable. | | | | I didn’t run for Senate to sit on the sidelines. I’m a mom, a conservative, and proud to stand for every corner of Alabama—our cities, small towns, and rural communities alike. I’m rooted in faith, built on family, and committed to making Alabama stronger and better for generations to come. Alabama is a place of hard work, strong values, and unyielding independence. But the Left is trying to tear that all down. I didn’t come to Washington to play games. I came to fight for every Alabamian who feels forgotten and left behind. Whether it’s securing our borders, protecting our children, or defending our way of life, I’m here fighting for Alabama’s future. This fight isn’t easy, but it's worth it. And I’m not going anywhere. Will you stand with me? | | | | | Celebrate conservative leadership and show your patriotism with this unique, high quality, Made-in-America hat. | | | | Follow Katie On Social Media: | SIGN UP FOR SMS ALERTS: TEXT "KATIE" TO 27488 | By texting KATIE, you consent to join a recurring SMS/MMS text messaging program that will provide alerts, donation requests, updates, and other important information.
