FMR GOV JEFF COLYER RAISES $1 MILLION+ FROM DONORS, MATCHES IT DOLLAR-FOR-DOLLAR TO REACH NEARLY $2 MILLION CASH ON HAND
Strong Donor Support Combined With Personal Investment Positions Campaign for Successful Election Year
Topeka, KS — Former Kansas Governor Jeff Colyer announced today that his campaign has raised more than $1 million from donors, which Colyer then matched dollar-for-dollar with personal funds, giving the campaign nearly $2 million cash on hand.
The fundraising milestone reinforces Colyer’s position as the strongest candidate in the field based on objective measures of campaign strength. His campaign is leading in fundraising from donors across both Republican and Democratic fields, while also maintaining the most durable indicators of statewide support.
Colyer currently leads the race in earned endorsements, remains undefeated in statewide straw polls, and is the most recognized candidate in the contest. Available voter data further shows Colyer commands the strongest favorability among voters, reflecting broad confidence in his leadership and record.
“Raising more than a million dollars from Kansans is a measure of real support,” Colyer said. “Matching that support personally shows I’m fully committed to winning this race and delivering results for Kansas again.”
