The first major test of this year for Democrats is not a congressional or senate race.

In April, the Wisconsin Supreme Court is back on the ballot, and MAGA has their eyes fixated on the court again.

You remember what happened last spring. Elon Musk dumped over $20 million into the race to try and buy the court. Democrats fought back, raising enough money from small dollar donations and outorganized the richest man in the world.

It embarrassed Trump so badly he threw Musk out of the White House and his role at DOGE. Then Elon and Trump had a public breakup, and Musk mostly vanished from politics for the rest of 2025.

But now, Elon is back... just in time for Wisconsin Dems to kick his ass again.

Trump and Elon truly are made for each other, wholly incapable of taking “no” for an answer.

It’s the rerun from hell.

We have four months to organize another defense of this court and MAGA sees it as their opening to claw their way back while Democrats are focused on the House and Senate. Elon is out from the shadows and bankrolling MAGA again and they’re plotting revenge for what happened in 2025.

Just like last year, this race will set the tone for Democrats in 2026.

Defend Our Courts is suiting up for this battle. After our huge success in helping protect the PA Supreme Court in November, we are expanding nationwide. Wisconsin is our first major target and we are bringing the same winning formula forward.

But here is the reality. When we launched our defense of PA, we had six months to build our operation. For Wisconsin, we only have four. Two fewer months to raise the money, build the program, and get ready to defeat MAGA again.

We don’t have time to waste, we have to ramp up our efforts NOW.
