Trump and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem are scheming to slash a critical component of FEMA that is so important it is known by the acronym “CORE”: Cadre of On-Call Response/Recovery Employees. 

CORE workers are essential to disaster recovery and emergency preparedness. They make up nearly 40% of FEMA’s workforce.

The MAGA death cult is going to get thousands of people killed for no reason. This is sickening.

And if Kristi Noem gets her way, FEMA may be on the chopping block for even more devastating staff cuts in the future: a leaked internal document details a nearly 50% reduction in staff across the board, laying out firing over 11,500 workers in an agency with just 23,000 total staff.

The “pick yourself up by your bootstraps” Administration could not care less about the American people. 

Voters need to know who is responsible when disaster hits and help never shows up: the MAGA Republicans who blindly enable Trump’s every whim.
