Has Planned Parenthood Cancelled Margaret Sanger? Business Removes Her Name from Manhatten Location

By: Brittany Raymer

Is Margaret Sanger’s legacy about to go down in flames? It seems so as Planned Parenthood of Greater New York (PPGNY), one of the abortion business’ largest affiliates, officially removed Sanger’s name from its Manhattan clinic. This development was stunning since the organization has spent years defending Sanger and her work.

Margaret Sanger was a believer in the eugenic philosophy that only certain people are worthy of having children. Those considered unworthy of life or producing life included individuals with disabilities, criminal records, and other hereditary health problems. Over the years, Planned Parenthood has worked hard to minimize this reality of Sanger’s philosophy, but finally the organization has seemingly come to terms with its despicable founder.

“The removal of Margaret Sanger’s name from our building is both a necessary and overdue step to reckon with our legacy and acknowledge Planned Parenthood’s contributions to historical reproductive harm within communities of color,” Karen Seltzer, the chair of the New York affiliate’s board, said in a statement. “Margaret Sanger’s concerns and advocacy for reproductive health have been clearly documented, but so too has her racist legacy.”

Men Don’t Have to Menstruate
Atlantic Magazine Science Writer: Men Don’t Have to Menstruate.

By: Glenn Stanton

The Atlantic magazine has an otherwise interesting article just out about how suffering through the end of their monthly cycle might now be a thing of the past for women. But that’s not the real newsmaker in this story. It’s that men need no longer to have their period either. Are you confused? You should be.

This curious turn comes on the heels of PinkNews, a pro-gay news site in the United Kingdom, getting all twisted up last week because a major British charity seeking a cure for cervical cancer had the audacity to claim that it’s solely a woman’s concern. They celebrate the fact that the charity was shamed into admitting that yes, men are also at risk. But you would expect such silliness from a gay news source. But what about a seemingly serious publication like The Atlantic? It’s worth paying attention to their turn in this direction as a significant cultural indicator.
Coronavirus Immunity
Close to Herd Immunity? New Study Finds Common Cold May Provide Coronavirus Immunity
By: Zachary Mettler

A new peer-reviewed study out of Singapore, published in the Nature Research Journal, has hopeful news regarding the coronavirus pandemic. The study revealed that the common cold may provide some level of immunity to the novel coronavirus. This also may indicate that we are much closer to herd immunity than has been reported.

There are hundreds of millions of cases of the common cold every year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Coronaviruses account for 15% to 30% of all “common colds” contracted annually.

The scientists who conducted the study, which has been peer-reviewed, examined whether T cell responses to other coronaviruses carried over to the virus that causes COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2.

Shackled and Blindfolded Men in Xinjiang, China
Video of Shackled and Blindfolded Men in Xinjiang, China Raises Concerns of Genocide and Forced Labor
By: Brittany Raymer

A video showing men sitting blindfolded and shackled in rows while waiting at a train station with police overseers has gone viral, raising fresh concerns about genocide and forced labor against the Uyghur minority in Xinjiang, China.

According to reports, most of these men will end up as forced laborers in factories, working not only for the Chinese but for North American and European companies like Apple, Amazon, Calvin Klein, H&M, BMW, Cisco, Microsoft, Nike, Lenovo, Sony, Skechers, Volkswagen, and many, many others.

It’s possible that the iPhones many have in their pockets might have been made, in part, by a Uighur man or woman who has been forcibly separated from his or her family and “re-educated” by the Communist Party.

ACLU Sues Catholic Hospital
ACLU Sues Catholic Hospital for Cancelling Transgender Surgery

By: Jeff Johnston

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed a lawsuit against the University of Maryland Medical System Corporation (UMMS) and University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center (St. Joseph) for cancelling Jesse Hammons’ scheduled hysterectomy.

Hammons is a woman who believes she’s a man and was having the hysterectomy as “treatment” for gender dysphoria. The ACLU argues that UMMS and St. Joseph violated Hammons’ First and Fourteenth Amendment rights.

Bioethicist Wesley J. Smith, writing at National Review, says such suits pose a grave threat to religious freedom. He writes, “It is open season on Catholic hospitals as secularists try to coerce these institutions to violate Church doctrine in the provision of medical services.”
