Next Tuesday, January 13, 2026, organizations and advocates from across the country will gather at the United States Supreme Court for the Rally for Women’s Sports.
This rally coincides with major women’s sports cases before the Court, including West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Hecox v. Little, which will determine whether laws protecting fairness, safety, and equal opportunity for female athletes remain in place. Join us at 10 a.m. on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C.
Texas Values will be present in the court room and at the rally with Alliance Defending Freedom and other allies like Save Women’s Sports & Women’s Privacy Leaders Riley Gaines and Brooke Slusser from Texas during the Save Women's Sports hearing. We hope to see you there!

The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans will hear the Texas Ten Commandments case brought by the ACLU in TWO weeks on January 20, 2026.
Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi make up what is considered the 5th Circuit. The entire court of 17 active judges will decide this case. Members of the Texas Values law and policy team will be present holding a Press Conference at the court hearing in New Orleans.
Recently, the federal appeals court approved the filing of Texas Values' friend of the court "amicus brief" on behalf of Texas State Senator Phil King and Texas State Representative Candy Noble (the legislators who filed and championed the passage of the Texas Ten Commandments law in 2025) supporting the Texas Ten Commandments law at the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
The legal amicus brief was filed on December 23rd, but the ACLU opposed the filing of the brief (which is highly unusual in such cases) requiring the court to issue an order on this matter specifically. The legal amicus brief filed by Texas Values can be found here.
Texas Values Attorney Jonathan Saenz released the following quote:
“It is an honor to represent the Texas Ten Commandment law authors Senator Phil King and Representative Candy Noble in this important friend of the court (amicus) legal brief supporting this important law in court. We trust that the federal 5th Circuit Court of Appeals will agree with the historical and traditional value of the Ten Commandments and allow the law to stand.”

Jonathan Saenz, President & Attorney for Texas Values was sworn in as an official member of the U. S. Supreme Court Bar Wednesday, December 3.
On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, Jonathan will be in the court room for the U. S. Supreme Court hearing on the Save Girls’ Sports cases from Idaho and West Virginia that could impact the rest of the nation with laws protecting women and girls from men competing in women’s sports.

We'd like to encourage anyone in the Central Texas area who cares about our American and Texas Heritage and does not want to see woke materials in the TEKS to volunteer to serve on a Work Group. The best applicants will have some experience teaching history or Social Studies or has an educational background in these subjects.
