Donald Trump vetoed bipartisan-passed legislation that would finally bring clean drinking water to 50,000 Coloradans because he's punishing Colorado for jailing convicted election tamperer Tina Peters. Lauren Boebert sponsored this legislation in one of the rare moments that she focused on her district instead of her Twitter following.
After Trump vetoed the bill, Boebert pledged to lead an override of his veto, and she failed to deliver the override.
The bottom line? Boebert has spent years sucking up to Trump, which should at least lead to good things for her district and Colorado. Instead, Boebert learned what everyone else knows: Trump doesn't give a damn about her or Colorado.
Loyalty to Trump buys you nothing, not even clean drinking water for your district.
