Within hours, before an investigation even began, the machinery of the state didn’t just defend the shooter; it began an all-out assault on the truth.
The Anatomy of the Lie
If you only watched the administration’s feeds this week, you’d believe that this ICE agent performed a heroic public service by “neutralizing a domestic terrorist.”
Here is how they did it:
The “Domestic Terrorist” Label: Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and official DHS accounts immediately labeled Renee a “domestic terrorist.” There is zero evidence she was involved in any organized left-wing terror cell—she was a stay-at-home mom.
The “Ran Him Over” Falsehood: Donald Trump posted a slowed-down, distorted video from a right-wing influencer to claim Renee “viciously ran over” the agent. Bystander video clearly shows the agent standing on his own feet, reholstering his weapon, and walking away.
JD Vance’s Media Siege: In a chilling White House briefing, the Vice President didn’t just defend the shooting; he shamed the press for calling it a “murder,” labeling Renee “brainwashed” by left-wing ideology and calling her death a “tragedy of her own making.”
The Media Capitulation: At CBS News, the crisis is internal. Under new direction from the Ellison family (major Trump donors) and Bari Weiss, reports have emerged of “spiking” critical stories—including a 60 Minutes segment on ICE abuses, and a social media post from the network explaining how the network is changing, “we respect our tradition, but we believe in the future.” What the fuck does that mean when it comes to reporting factual news?
This Regime have every resource at their fingertips to disseminate lies—they’ve taken control of legacy media, social media, and billions of dollars funding their deception. We only have each other in this fight.
They Did This Before. We Can’t Let It Work Again.
