COVID-19 created the greatest economic crisis this country has seen since the Great Depression.

As part of the CARES Act, the relief bill passed at the start of the pandemic, we fought to include an extended unemployment benefit of $600 a week for the millions of Americans out of work.
Today is the LAST day people are eligible for the unemployment benefit, which is set to run out at the end of July – and Mitch McConnell and the GOP have made no moves to extend it. [[link removed]]
If the benefits aren’t extended, more than 30 million Americans will lose an economic lifeline that’s kept food on their tables and roofs over their heads.
That $600 a week is pumping $50 billion a week into America’s economy, and if we fail to extend it, our already dire economic situation will become far worse. [[link removed]]
We need to take action now, before it’s too late!
