john,

As a pediatrician and a mom, I've spent my career protecting the health of children.

This means making sure they get healthy nutrition, plenty of outdoor play, a safe environment, and lots of love from their parents. It also means making sure they get immunized to protect them from infectious diseases that used to cause widespread suffering, hospitalizations, and sometimes death.

I've seen firsthand how vaccines save lives and prevent diseases that used to cripple or kill children.

But as Secretary of Health and Human Services, RFK Jr. is hellbent on limiting the number of immunizations children get. Under his new guidelines, the number would drop from 17 to 10.

Even his own hand-picked immunization advisory panel chock full of anti-vaccination activists didn’t do this! For example, they recommended that children still receive an annual flu vaccine.

But not RFK Jr. He independently decided—based on ideology, not evidence—to no longer recommend that all children be protected from illnesses like flu, rotavirus, meningitis, and RSV. He's personally putting our children at risk based on unfounded personal beliefs.

Will you chip in whatever you can to help me fight back against his reckless agenda in Congress? >> [link removed]

Let me be clear: Vaccines are one of the greatest public health achievements of the last century. They are safe, they are effective, and they protect our children and our communities from diseases that used to sicken and even kill children on a regular basis. Rolling back these proven protections doesn't just put individual kids at risk; it puts all of us at risk.

We've seen what happens when vaccine coverage drops. It means more outbreaks of measles, whooping cough, and other preventable diseases. That’s not hypothetical. Last year, children in the United States of America died from measles and pertussis!

We're talking about real harm that will be done and real human lives that will be needlessly lost all because one unqualified conspiracy theorist has been given the reins to our nation's public health.

We need to fight back, and we need to do it now. RFK Jr.'s anti-vaccine agenda is a dangerous step backward, and we need leaders in Congress who will stand up for truth, for kids, and for families. I'm fighting every day to protect access to healthcare, to support evidence-based medicine, and to keep politics out of our doctors' offices. But I can't do it alone.

Can you chip in $5, or anything you can, to support my campaign as we stand up to misinformation and defend children’s health? >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Kim
