Yesterday, along with my colleagues, I reintroduced a bipartisan War Powers Resolution to block Trump’s warmongering against Venezuela. 

Trump has illegally dragged our nation into war with Venezuela – launching a large-scale military operation without authorization from Congress – all for oil.

He has put thousands of American troops in harm’s way and wants to spend billions of taxpayers dollars “running” Venezuela – so that his billionaire friends can get rich.

We need to put every member of Congress on-record: do you support Donald Trump dragging the U.S. into another foreign conflict over oil?

That’s what our War Powers Resolution will do. We will force a vote on the House floor – and the clock just started.
