** Alex Dubé Graduate Scholarship for Dancers
------------------------------------------------------------

** Applications due Monday, March 2
------------------------------------------------------------

Career Transition For Dancers (CTFD) at the Entertainment Community Fund supports the education of dancers transitioning to new careers.

Named after Alex Dubé (former dancer, dance advocate and CTFD President), the Alex Dubé Graduate Scholarship supports current and former dancers in pursuit of a graduate-level degree.

Through the Alex Dubé Graduate Scholarship ([link removed]) , five eligible dancers enrolled in accredited Master’s or PhD degree programs will receive one-time awards of $10,000 annually, and one-time Entertainment Community Fund awards of $2,000 will be distributed to select eligible dancers who do not receive an Alex Dubé award. This scholarship will assist with tuition toward a graduate degree as dancers take the next step forward in their careers.

To apply:
* Attend an orientation by February 18
+ A CTFD Orientation ([link removed]) is offered on the first Wednesday of each month and is designed to share more detailed information about career counseling and scholarships specifically for dancers.
+ If you are unable to attend the CTFD Orientation, you may alternatively attend The Career Center Orientation ([link removed]) , offered every Monday and Wednesday of the month.
* Meet with a CTFD Career Counselor before February 23
* Submit a scholarship application by March 2

Career Transition For Dancers (CTFD) also offers a Professional Development Scholarship ([link removed]) for certification programs and Undergraduate Scholarship ([link removed]) for undergraduate degree programs.

Applications for the Professional Development Scholarship are due on the 12th of every month, and applications for the Undergraduate Scholarship are due on June 15 and October 15.
