Imagine that.

Emboldened by their regime change operation in Venezuela, the Trump administration is now eyeing up the entire Western Hemisphere.

Invade Cuba? Sure, we’ve tried before. Colombia? Trump doesn’t like their president anyway. Mexico? Worth considering.

But Greenland has emerged as the clear next target for Trump.

We’re watching a wannabe-dictator attempt to build a wannabe-empire. It’s lawless, reckless, and a danger to the entire globe. If Trump makes a move on Greenland, which is part of Denmark, every alliance we have with European countries — and really any other nation in the world — will be tossed aside, destroying decades of partnerships and peaceful cooperation.

Let’s not forget, Trump was elected on promises to control the cost of living. That was the biggest issue facing American voters, and it still is. Not Venezuela or Greenland.

But the truth is that Trump has completely failed to deliver on his promises. The cost of living continues to rise, and his policies have directly contributed to skyrocketing costs for healthcare, energy, groceries, and more. So he needs distractions like Greenland to turn our attention away from our stagnating economy.

We have to bring this out-of-control White House to heel, before the world is plunged into chaos. That means electing a Congress who isn’t afraid to stand up to their illegal acts, lies, aggression, and corruption.

A Congress that has the power to legislate, investigate, reject appointments and nominees, and even impeach when necessary.
