Democrat,

It’s only been a short time since we rang in the new year but Donald Trump and his administration have wasted no time continuing their chaotic and harmful agenda, beginning with the unconstitutional military action in Venezuela and the capture of their president.

Donald Trump’s illegal actions in Venezuela demonstrate he doesn’t care about ‘peace on earth,’ halting illicit drugs from entering our country, or the U.S. Constitution. He’s pursuing a hostile takeover of a foreign nation to distract from the Epstein files and line the pockets of oil corporations and billionaires. It has nothing to do with helping Americans.

Everyday Americans worry about the rising cost of basic necessities like groceries and healthcare and want leaders to address these concerns. Instead, we as taxpayers are footing the bill for Trump and his donors to make millions off of war while our federal resources are dedicated to run a country 2,000 miles away for the foreseeable future. How is that “America First”?

Donald Trump’s greed will continue to cost us. Members of Congress of both parties must work together to hold him accountable for these illegal acts of war.

This was followed by the horrific events in Minnesota, where ICE agents murdered Renee Good. The Trump administration is trying to lie to the American people about what happened but we’ve seen the video and know the truth.

ICE is not keeping communities safe as they claim they do, they are inciting violence and chaos.

Masked and armed, these agents have no right to terrorize our cities and neighbors. Trump’s immigration policies are cruel, divisive, and do nothing to actually address the issue of immigration.. Renee Good should be alive today. We can honor her memory by standing up against these cruel policies and taking the majority in Congress to advance accountability and safety going forward.

NJGOP Congressmen Vote Against Lowering Healthcare Costs

Last year, Donald Trump and congressional Republicans passed the most unpopular bill in modern history that is now skyrocketing the cost of healthcare and is projected to rip coverage away from an estimated 4.2 million Americans. Part of this disastrous bill was letting ACA premium health care tax credits expire.

At the end of 2025, every single House Democrat signed a discharge petition to extend the ACA tax credits for three years, and then convinced four Republicans to join them, forcing a vote on this bill. That vote took place yesterday and passed the House.

Every New Jersey House Democrat voted yes. Jeff Van Drew and Chris Smith voted no, siding with Donald Trump and their political party instead of the people of New Jersey. That’s right, all three representatives voted against lowering healthcare prices. 2026 is the year we vote them out for their betrayal to our families.
