The election experts at the Cook Political Report have ranked every Senate seat up for election this November — and they list Georgia, Michigan, Maine, and North Carolina as the most competitive races in the country.
That’s two seats we can flip, and two we have to hang onto, and we won’t sugarcoat it: Republicans are going to spend whatever it takes to win in these four states. After Donald Trump won in both Georgia and Michigan in 2024, national Republicans are prepared to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to flip these two Senate seats red.
Likewise, they’ll do whatever it takes to keep Maine and North Carolina from flipping blue. These will be obscenely expensive races, because these four seats will help determine who controls the Senate next year.
The stakes are way too high to cede any ground to the GOP. We need to start investing to win — not only these four races, but key races across the country.
