JOHN,
In Rhode Island and across the country, people have been crushed by high healthcare costs and face premiums for 2026 that are simply unaffordable – all because Trump and House Republicans let critical Affordable Care Act funding expire at the end of this year.
But while Republicans are playing politics with peoples’ lives, Democrats are taking action. House Democrats forced a vote on extending Affordable Care Act funding, and yesterday we were successful.
This is a major victory in our fight to keep health care affordable.
As this moves to the Senate, I will not stop fighting to keep healthcare affordable for Rhode Islanders. There’s a lot on the line.
If this funding is not extended, premiums stay up, coverage is less affordable, and families who are already stretched will struggle to make ends meet. That’s why this fight can’t wait, and why showing strong grassroots support in this moment matters so much.
If you’re able to give, JOHN, even a small contribution today makes a difference and helps us keep pushing forward.

Democrats in the House voted. With your help, we can keep building the momentum needed to protect affordable healthcare.
Thank you for standing with me.
