On Tuesday, January 13, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in two cases that will affect young people across the country. The Court will hear oral arguments in West Virginia v. B.P.J. and Little v. Hecox, two cases that challenge laws in West Virginia and Idaho banning transgender women and girls from participating on women’s sports teams at all levels in public schools. These cases could have sweeping consequences for transgender and nonbinary people nationwide and represent a critical moment for gender justice.
