Contest Every Race is making moves earlier than ever to get Democrats on the ballot across the country.

We’ve already launched 2026 local candidate recruitment in 14 states. This weekend, we’re expanding into Montana and Georgia by texting potential candidates, following up, and connecting them with local partners who can help them run their campaigns and win.

These races may not make national news, but they shape who holds power locally and who’s ready to run this year and beyond. Rebuilding the Democratic bench only works if we invest before filing deadlines close.
