ICE may have once been a legitimate agency. But under Trump, it is not that anymore. It has been weaponized. It answers to one man. It operates with impunity. And just days ago, an unarmed, peaceful citizen was shot and killed by ICE agents in Minnesota.

And this is what some Democrats chose to applaud?

This is exactly what voters mean when they say Democrats feel out of touch. When they say we don’t listen. When they say we refuse to see what’s right in front of us.

How is thanking an agency that terrorizes communities, ignores due process, and carries out Trump’s agenda supposed to help working families? How is that defending democracy? How is that standing up for basic human dignity?

Trump is turning federal power into a political weapon. ICE is one of the tools. And instead of drawing a bright line, too many Democrats are blurring it.

That’s not leadership. And voters notice.
