Five years ago, we saw the writing on the wall: the ‘fringe’ anti-vaccine movement found support in the anti-abortion movement, the two groups twining their pseudo-science claims together. [1]

Smash cut to now and these two groups have become government leaders, including but not limited to RFK Jr. as health secretary. And now – against the advice of top public health experts and decades of evidence-based research – Kennedy, the same man presiding over HHS when the FDA has a pending sham ‘review’ of medication abortion, has taken it upon himself to decrease the number of recommended vaccines, a move described as “alarming, unnecessary, and will endanger the health of children in the United States.” [2]

They claim to care about children, yet their actions say otherwise. We’re holding them accountable for this. Give now.

We warned that these extreme ideas, peddled online by charlatans and opportunists, around vaccines would hop to mainstream and how dangerous that would be years ago. We are saddened and disappointed to see it come true, but we’re not giving up.

We’re fighting back against disinformation and junk science at every turn, including taking anti-abortion and anti-vaccine bogus claims to task. Stand with us now with a donation.

We’re seeing the consequences of this extreme thinking right now: Measles, one of the most contagious diseases in the world, is rising so rapidly in the US that we are on the verge of losing our measles elimination status. [3]

The only antidote for disinformation is truth. Stand with us. Stand against lies. Give now.

Sincerely,

Erin Matson
