We’re demanding that the 2020 democratic presidential candidates take a stand on net neutrality.

John,

Last year, ISPs spent more money lobbying than ever before in history.1

They’re pouring campaign contributions into politicians’ pockets, and we can’t trust either party to restore net neutrality unless we make them. That’s why we’re demanding that all 2020 Democratic presidential candidates commit to a free and open Internet—and reject Big Cable’s money.

Sign the petition: tell all presidential candidates to pledge to restore strong net neutrality protections and to reject contributions from Big Cable.

Despite overwhelming public support for net neutrality, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is blocking legislation passed by the House that would restore protections gutted by the FCC—protections that ensure companies like AT&T, Comcast, and Verizon can’t block and slow traffic, or interfere with our choices online.

Since the repeal of net neutrality, we’re already seeing alarming reports of Internet providers slowing online services.2 If net neutrality is not restored, the public will lose the ability to access sites, run small businesses, and tell the stories too often ignored by the mainstream media.

The next president has the ability to restore crucial open Internet protections. But Big Cable is trying to prevent that by using its money to buy influence that furthers its own agenda.

Our ability to connect and communicate is at stake. We need to get every presidential candidate on record for a free and open Internet and insist they reject AT&T, Comcast and Verizon’s money. Will you help?

Add your name: tell all presidential candidates to pledge to restore net neutrality and to reject contributions from Big Cable.

For the Internet,

Evan at Fight for the Future
