I’m running to flip this seat because I'm sick and tired of working people like me working more every year and getting less.
Folks are breaking their backs just to fall a little further behind every year, and they don’t feel like either party is there to fix it — unable to afford the doctor, priced out of their communities, one surprise bill away from devastation. The burden of our broken economy is falling too hard on working people, and it’s past time we fix that.

While working people barely scrape by, the rich and powerful are buying up our housing, health care, and retirement, just to strip it all down and sell it back to us.
We deserve better. And MT-01 can do better than Republican Representative Ryan Zinke - a poster child for corruption and grift who’s gotten exponentially richer since getting to Congress.
While Zinke and his rich friends have attacked our public lands and the Montanans who work on them, I’ve fought back alongside my fellow public servants and union members. Now I’m running to replace Ryan Zinke, because we deserve one of us fighting for Montanans in Congress — he came after our jobs, and I’m coming after his.
This won’t be easy. But after jumping out of planes to fight wildfires, I’m not intimidated by the notion of a tough campaign. My job as a firefighter is to address crises under pressure, and that’s exactly what I’ll do to tackle the ways Washington is failing working people.
I'm running for Congress because I still believe that when we pull together and work hard, we can solve big problems.
We’re done shouldering the burden for the rich and powerful, and we’re banding together to demand better. But right now, we need to show that our campaign has broad support from the outset.
