As we start off the new year, we wanted to share an update on where things stand, and why your support matters more than ever right now.
1. Anthony filed more than 40 lawsuits last year against the Trump administration.
In 2025 alone, Anthony has defended us against the Trump administration’s lawless actions to protect our rights, healthcare, safety, privacy, and economic security.
2. We are entering an election year, and the stakes could not be higher.
The Trump administration’s overreach is escalating, and attorneys general have become the nation’s last line of defense against unlawful federal action. We cannot afford to slow down as we start off 2026.
3. The fundraising freeze begins soon.
Maryland law prohibits statewide officials from raising money during the legislative session. From mid-January through mid-April, our campaign will be unable to raise a single dollar.
This moment requires us to be stronger and more prepared than ever. Grassroots support right now is the only thing that will sustain the campaign through the fundraising freeze and the election year.
