Trump promised peace, but has delivered just more conflict.

Let me be absolutely clear: I oppose any attempt to take control of Venezuela for its oil. 

Without a war powers resolution, Trump has ZERO authority to commit violence in America’s name.

Trump has committed the United States to “running” another country for the foreseeable future while Americans foot the bill for a regime change they overwhelmingly oppose. 

And Trump has said the quiet part out loud. The justification for this war isn’t about stemming drugs or protecting the safety of Americans. 

This is about enriching oil corporations and his corrupt billionaire friends.

And he’s already threatening to repeat this horrible playbook in Mexico, Greenland, Cuba, and Colombia. We can’t let that happen.
