While the annual parade will not take place this year, Pride celebrations will continue online.

Nottinghamshire Pride has been pre-recorded and will go out between 7 and 9pm tomorrow night.

The Council House and Wollaton Hall will be lit up on Saturday night to mark Nottinghamshire Pride. You may also have seen the Council House banner in Old Market Square (above). And, a rainbow flag will be raised at Newstead Abbey.

Pride 2020 highlights include:

  • Nottingham's premier comedy drag extravaganza, the Scream Queenz
  • Local poet and health advocate Ravelle Sadé 
  • Local drag queen - Kitty Tray 
  • Activist, writer and speaker Maryam Din

Enjoy the Theatre Royal’s Classic Thriller Season from your sofa

Venue producers are staging a special event, available online, as part of the Classic Thriller season, which has been running at the Theatre Royal since 1986.

Chesterfield based Tabs productions, will be performing a new adaptation of The Black Veil, a Victorian thriller based on  a short story by Charles Dickens. 

With minimal set and lighting, this one-hour play, was filmed on the Theatre Royal stage. It's free to watch on-demand from 29 July.
