Dear John,

Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a great holiday season and start to 2026.

2025 was filled with major political changes that were, frankly, exhausting, disheartening, and at times scary; however, we saw the momentum shift in November as Democrats swept in elections across the country. 

2026 is a new year and a new chance for new leadership in DC. We have the momentum, and Republicans are scared—they’ve made it clearer than ever with their schemes to try and make it harder for Democrats to win. But we aren’t scared, and we won’t back down. 

We are entering this new year clear-eyed, hopeful, and excited for what 2026 will bring as we work to turn the tide on the turmoil of Donald Trump’s second term.

We can’t do this alone, though. We need everyone on board if we are going to win big in November. If you’re committed to the cause, can you help chip in so we can get Democrats elected to office? 

Let’s prove to them we can win, and we will win even with their foolish antics.
