South Kitsap
Following inspection by road shop crews, it was determined that the 6-foot metal culvert at Minter Creek is not compromised. However, the culvert headwalls on both sides have failed, resulting in deterioration of the roadway shoulder near the travel lanes.
Road shop crews will be working to repair the failed headwalls and stabilize the shoulder area. Repairs are expected to be completed and the road reopened early next week.
SW Minterbrook Rd remains closed between Westbrook Dr SW and Eastbrook Dr SW during this work. Please continue to plan alternate routes. Additional updates will be provided as work progresses.
