Reductions in international aid are impeding sustainable development goals [[link removed]] worldwide. Global aid cuts [[link removed]] have far-reaching consequences–severely stalling progress in providing health care services and protecting sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
In collaboration with our sister organization, Population Connection Action Fund [[link removed]] , we invite you to a timely discussion with community organizers whose work has been impacted by the U.S. foreign aid “freeze” and the dissolution of USAID (the US Agency for International Development).
Speakers will share their firsthand experiences dealing with funding cuts to community-led programs that were working to improve essential healthcare services, combat gender-based violence, and protect reproductive freedom.
This session aims to shed light on the impact of the US decision to stop its investment in global health, share insights from field organizers, and foster dialogue.
