Email from Defend Our Courts John, Yesterday, an ICE agent murdered Minnesotan Renee Good for no other reason than legally observing and documenting their crimes against humanity. Immediately after the shooting, the MAGA propaganda machine kicked into full gear. DHS Kristi Noem justified the shooting and claimed that Renee had tried to ram the officers with her car. Donald Trump took the lie even further, claiming the ICE agent who murdered Renee was hospitalized and lucky to be alive. The problem is, the whole incident was recorded on video, and it directly exposes Trump and Noem’s lies:     Trump is using ICE as his personal Gestapo, and they’re extrajudicially executing American citizens without consequence. ICE must be abolished. It is a federal agency operating outside of the law, equipping racists with masks and guns, lining their pockets with $50,000 in taxpayer cash, and unleashing them in American cities to do whatever the hell they please. For Democrats to be able to bring justice for Renee and other victims of ICE, they need to take back the White House and purge the Justice Department of Trump’s loyalists who have allowed ICE to run amok. In 2026, state Supreme Court seats in the key swing states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin are up for grabs. Democrats must win a combination of these states to win the presidency. But if MAGA seizes control of these courts, it would give them the final call on declaring winners and losers in elections held in each state, blocking Democrats from winning the White House for at least a decade. So Defend Our Courts is stepping up to lead the defense of these courts. In 2025, we proved that our strategy works when we helped defend the PA Supreme Court. Now we’re taking the winning formula to a national level. To bring justice for Renee and other victims of ICE’s terror, we must defend the Democrats' path back to the White House.
